Lancia Stratos, Criterium Alpin 1976,

I'm glad, that appealed to my model Ferrari 308 . Let me show you, my first car model. I built it a year ago. It's Lancia Stratos 1/24 Hasegawa. When I was a little boy, I once sat in a real rallye Stratos.

I like unusual things. I learned that in 1977 she finished in the 6th place in Monte Carlo rally the female ,Christine Dacremont and Colette Galli . Her car had unusual colors and sponsor.
Pink, white and red color, and the sponsor of Aseptogyl, manufacturer of toothpaste . Car of the rallye Monte Carlo is known, but by the end of 1976 held rallies, where they reached the top ranks of female crew. 2nd Michele Mouton and she finished third Christine Dacremont.
This is her car.

Three queens (M.Mouton, Ch.Dacremont and M.Höpner )

.....and this is my model cars in the Criterium Alpin 1976

Model Hasegawa, seat belt Eduard, decal my production.

Just a curiosity.
This is the crew in 1976.....

.... and in year 2000 this

Christine is still a pretty woman...

Re: Lancia Stratos, Criterium Alpin 1976,

That is another nice looking model of a very rare subject. Not only are there not enough Stratoses here, but also not enough rally cars. Moreover, you've chosen an unusual livery to depict. Excellent.

Now maybe you should add a bunch of dirt, mud, and dust?

IMO dirt and mud surely not, it was a dry sunny tarmac rally, as visible on the reference pic above, in which car seems especially clean by the way, pic should have been taken in the first stages...
One clue of that is the missing rear mudguards while Stratos usually used large ones falling to the road...!

Re: Lancia Stratos, Criterium Alpin 1976,

Just seeing a thing you missed (??), the rear hood is attached by two fixations, not only one as usualy seen... Did you noticed it ?
Never noticed it on the Aseptogyl car, should be particular to this rally.
I'm gonna take a look in my 1/43 kit but I think it's MC rally...

Thank you all for the comments.

to Rallymaster :......the rear hood is attached by two fixations, not only one as usualy seen... Did you noticed it ?...

Yes I know that there are missing. I have enough there to give.

Aaahh those french rally girls...
Most women in the race car.
To me, Christine Dacremont is beautiful, but Michel Mouton is still beautiful. Even if they are already older.

to Andrew Landon : Car history interests me most. Face pilot, participation in the race, etc.

Great to see another "unusual" livery.
Car looks spot on. The interior looks great.
Amazing build !
