Heater Core Replacement - 98 Intrigue
Looking for advise on this repair. Looking up from the floor, it's tough to tell what is what.
I have the center console out, but it still seems like there is not enough room to remove the heater outlet and cover. Maybe I am missing some of the fasteners or something else needs to be removed first? |

Looks like I missed one screw way up underneath the dash. Not too bad a job overall.

Re: Heater Core Replacement - 98 Intrigue
I have a 1999 with a 3800 and my heater core is leaking. I would like to change out myself and save $400. Anyone have experience with the do's and do not's? I like to ask before wasting time. I'm concerned about having to do anything with the AC (i.e. recovery), that would be a deal breaker and I would have to take it somewhere.

Re: Heater Core Replacement - 98 Intrigue
Are you replacing the heater core under the dash or the condenser in the A/C?
The heater core does not require an A/C line break or refrigerant recovery. |
