Are you running pump gas? Better not run more than 8 PSI, cuz that engine has such high compression it will detenate with more than 8 PSI on pump gas. FMAX kits are good, but really pricey. I doubt 12 second ET's cuz you can only boost 8 PSI, that might get you 250 HP which is good for mid-high 13's. Not even close to 12's.
Are you sure they were talking pump gas, cuz of course if you run race gas you can put about 14 PSI on stock internals and that might get 12's. |

250 horses in a civic with a good driver and sticky tires will get you low 13's average. i hit hi 13's with street tires and all of 187 whp from my ls.

i purchased a fmax turbo kit about 2 years ago for my stock LS...i would agree they might be a little pricey,,but they give you some good stuff,,,,my advice is to build your own turbo kit,,check out the new edelbrock,or go with the fmax....i was hitten 13.7 @ 101 mph on 7-9 lbs of boost, open exhaust and street tires...i also have a new LS fully built that i am trying to sell
