Sudden Increase in Fuel Consumption

My AWD suddenly started consuming more fuel. what could be the reason?

Are you pressing on the accelerator more aggressively? Did the weather change considerably? What are the details and the tune up history of your vehicle? Does the engine seem to start, idle, and run fine other than the increased fuel consumption?

For us to offer suggestions you need to provide as much information as you can think of that might be relevant.

Check the spark plug wires.
