Any good ideas for a $5000 first car?

So I have $5,000 and I'm looking to buy my first car. (I will accept suggestions $4000-$6000)

So far I've looked at the Infiniti G20, the Acura Integra, and the Honda Prelude.

I'm thinking a smaller, sporty car, but if you have any good suggestions I'd be happy to take them. Probably looking for decent mileage in the 90-120 range, doesn't have to be too fast, but if possible it would be cool to have a car that handles well.

Just looking for something decently reliable that is fun to drive and cheap.
I'm 17 and I know some about cars, but not a ton.

I'll probably be a lot more interested in learning once I actually have one of my own.

Thanks in advance!
