looking for a cheap awd/4wd suv that gets good gas mileage
right now im thinking of an awd honda crv. ive got around $4k to spend. looking for something nice, no projects. any suggestions?

Hi....you want to buy car in $4k only?? I don't think it is possible on that budget....think once again on your budget or may be i am wrong.

yeah? where are you from? ive found quite a few nice crv's with less than 200k miles on them in the 4k range. and im not talkin bout a brand new vehicle.

Have you considered an older Subaru? The Forester has some killer cargo capacity (as long as you have 0 passengers) and the AWD is tried and true! If you don't like the box of the Forester, you could also look around for Outbacks.
