Thumbs up F1 GTR sold by Tom Hartley's

Collected my new Octane car magazine that came out today and was surprised to see that Tom Hartley (www.tomhartley.com) have just sold a fabulous looking Mclaren F1 GTR - M66 MCL. There is a nice picture of it under the 'classic' section on their website!

Thanks for the information

Tom Hartley seems to have a "french" Enzo, interesting.

Re: F1 GTR sold by Tom Hartley's

I thought I had already added that Tom Hartley had sold it - he sold it mid-Feb and 'tweeted' such. I must have had an offline chat with someone and thought I had added it here

So now I'm confused
This Tom's sold GTR was #14R, not #11R what I thought?

The 'M66 MCL' orange GTR is definitely 14R Sami.

11R may have also been for sale at a similar period of time but I was never confident in those Spanish ads we saw.

OK thanks for clearance. I really thought #14R has got a new owner long time ago, or then this news came out a bit late.
And yes that #11R sale advertising confused alot.
But #14R's new location is UK is suppose?
Will it stay Papaya Orange?
Do I remember right, it was seen last years gathering somekind of LARK livery setup?

Re: F1 GTR sold by Tom Hartley's

Hello,

don't worry Greg

I asked Tom Hartley to know new #14R location. Not sure I will have an answer

14R has had the same owner in the UK since roughly 2001 I believe. It has been Papaya Orange all that time.

At this point I believe the second LARK GTR must be 04R. That hasn't been proven yet, but there aren't any other logical possibilities.

Re: F1 GTR sold by Tom Hartley's

OK thanks Erik!
So what an earth #04R will do in Lark livery?!
Now I understand I mixed this up, and yes; remember to read something about #14R and that Orange painting. Yes yes.

So if this #04R thing is what it looks like; then all GTR chassis are still existing.....
