96 Blazer heater blower problem
The heater blower just stopped working. I checked the fuses and they are ok. When I turn the heater switch on nothing happens. Any ideas/

Re: 1996 Blazer starting problem
only the heat? or the blower in general?
mine actually managed to suck a parking ticket up off the floorboard, which jammed it. removed the ticket and it started working again just fine.

Re: 1996 Blazer starting problem
It is still producing heat just not blowing so I am thinking maybe the heater blower motor needs to be replaced.

Re: 96 Blazer heater blower problem
When you turn it to the high position for the switch, does the blower now work? If it doesn't check your connection at the blower, and probe it to see if it has power going to it. If it has power, your blower motor is bad, if it has no power, check your fuse, check your wiring to find your open in the circut.
Since you mention you checked your fuse, pribe the wiring at the blower to check for power. |
