Prototype
Hi,
here a modified Diecast in 1:24 Some months ago this model from Welly was available. For me it is an ugly car and I thought I make it even more ugly and make a prototype out of it. I got a white model and could start without painting. This design of the foil never existed, but the idea of sticking foil to this car didnīt let me go. First I made templates with adhesive tape, they were glued on paper and scanned, redrawn with Corel Draw, the design fit to the body and all printed on my OKIDP5000 on decalfoil. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Mike |

Re: Prototype
YEAH! This ugly duckling really rocks in this guise! It really looks convincing and is done nicely and very clean. Seems like the pattern I found works quite well for this task. I'm working on a similar prototype right now - but mine will be a lot uglier! ;-)
Great work mate! |

Soooooooo much better!!! That is a pretty cool design. I need something like that for some interiors.

Re: Prototype
This test mule looks better than the final product
![]() I have thought about buying one of these models to see if I can get rid of the giant potato in back and make it look...like it should?!?
