WIP - BMW 535i Schnitzer - FUJIMI - 1/24

Hi...how are you guys??

Well i still have to finish the porsche 944 but the weather is not well to do the paint part...so i start the assembly of this BMW, some pictures:

Sorry for the photo quality i took them with my cell phone

The box

Body with any bumpers on

Some parts

More parts

Testing rims...20" (aoshima Gram Light R57GT)

This is the idea..that the wheel stays very close from the body

I made some marks to see where I have to cut

I will have to put some great brake discs...theres a lot of space

Today I made some work on the chasis

Now...enough space for the wheels

I'll have to measure the correct length of the axis

Well, thats all i hope you like it

i forgot...color? maybe Mr Color N°28, something dark...that is the idea

I started this kit about a year and a half ago but lost motivation. Must get around to finishing it some day. I'll keep an eye on this one

Those wheels really fit the look of this car. So how far are you going with the other details?

Re: WIP - BMW 535i Schnitzer - FUJIMI - 1/24

Well i have news about the BMW...i almost finish the interior, im pretty happy with it, i know that you are used to see very impressive work, with very accurate details...but well this is my best, but also is my second model car so i try to do all the things slow and very carefully

I put some "cloth" (i guess taht the word is cloth) in the door panels

Then i cutt the extra cloth

And the interior almost done...i have to putt the steering wheel and some more little things

Well thats all for today, i have more pictures but i will wait and try to update the post with more things

Re: WIP - BMW 535i Schnitzer - FUJIMI - 1/24

well im working again with the BMW...so i have some news...

Chassis painted with semi gloss black

Quick assembly of suspension, wheels, the exhaust was painted and it has a rust/heat effect

Another detail i varnish the steering wheel rim

Then i realized that the original exhaust was very close of the wheels, so i take it out and re do it with evergreen (maybe i do something to cover the axes, i dont like how it looks, i want to give it a diferential look)

Start with the dremel

I did the measures, and i have like a preview of how it should look with a wire

Then i bend it

Quick assembly

Check if it is close to the bumper

Finally looks like this...i have to paint it and do the effect of rust/heat

Then, i primered it

This pictures show te color of the car, its a color from Peugeot catalogue

well thats all for today...
