1998 Chevy s10 P0141 4.3 v-6

I keep getting code p0141, b1 s1 02 sensor. I have replaced the sensor and the light keeps coming on. The wiring looks good, but the light will stay on. What should I do?

Re: 1998 Chevy s10 P0141 4.3 v-6

Have you cleared codes?
THE LIGHT WILL NOT GO OUT UNTILL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED AND YOU CLEAR CODES.

Codes do not say repace sensors.

The code is for a heater circuit on bank one sensor 2.

Are you sure you are on the right sensor?
Wher was the one you replaced?
Check for heater circuit voltage and ground to that sensor.
Is fuse to it good?
Is wiring and plug in good?

Check for battery voltage at the O2 heater,(Brown/Pink), wire.
If battery voltage is good, check heater ground,(Black), wire.
If both power and ground are good replace the sensor.

Good luck.

i have the same problem. I have a 1998 chevy k1500 with the 4.3 L ...i have a p0141 code and its saying either a bad o2 sensor or a fuel issue. Ive noticed my gas mileage dropping considerably as well. If you come up with a solution to this problem please let me know...thanks!

This post is old.
Must be a computer glitz going on.
Lot of strange posting to old post.
On your problem if you need help on it best to start your own post in the chev truck department.
And someone will help.
