can a 4.9 motor and trans go into a 1985 cadillac fleetwood

The engine should be ok if it is throttle body, the trans may be an issue as it probably is pcm controlled and the 85 was not. Obviously they have to be matching fwd, no mention what is what here? Around 91 GM went to pcm controlled transmissions.
