why its important to clean your shop once a year

took a a few hours considering this was a mess for 2 years lol i filled 3 bags of garbage and a good 10oz of overspray. the idea is to build cars in here as opposed to using it as a spraybooth more than likely that wont happen aside from the bulk assemblies

1st step finding the floor

still a mess but workable

threw out a bit a of paint

now i can cast stuff again

this is what happens when styrene soaks in airbrush cleaner the whole box absorbed the liquid and pretty much melted everything in it.

Yesssssssssssssssssssss

This is the kind of bloody mess that I love , in fact my lady isn't allowed to have access to my shop

The mess speak for you: you may haven't any skill but with this kind of mess anyone would think that you are one artist, at least a great artisan

Nex time housekeeping 2t/year

My "shop" is something like 4 sqft so I clean it every week. I wish I had space to spread out like that though, I am le jealous!

Re: why its important to clean your shop once a year

I have to share my building space with 3 dogs that don't care about shedding or stinking up the place. Though I have plenty of space, I wish I could get rid of the dogs.

Re: why its important to clean your shop once a year

I cleaned my table after only a few months and I found missing parts under the paper I put down. Oh, and there was something running around under there, that scared me!

Re: why its important to clean your shop once a year

When I saw the first photo, before saw the following , I thinking that you post a garage diorama!!!!!
Then I am shocked...
Never I can work in this place... I want all my tool, kits, paints, etc. in a symetry and well cleaned in their stores...
But I know that great artists and also modellers, take his ispiration on a foul of mesh rooms... So I respect it...
Happy modeling in any place any time!!!!

Re: why its important to clean your shop once a year

eheh..think these are mostly the 2 main option in modelling working place.
Some love to be in a clinic, clean and in order....others love to work in a mess....cause is a PERFECT mess where u find everything , and if somebody (girlfriend..wife..mama..) try to fix it, it becomes a REAL mess
