air/heater switch for geo

looking for a interior heater/ac fan switch for a 1994 geo metro. Fan speeds work but it is not cutting on the air compressor for the ac.

Re: air/heater switch for geo

I doubt very much that the fan switch is the problem.

agree...

start by checking if you have enough refrigerant in the AC system

is it still the old R12 or was it retrofitted to take R134A?

Re: air/heater switch for geo

Does the A/C clutch spin at all or is it locked up? Bc mine locked up and got a junked one for 100 and put it back in and just took it to a shop to have it filled.

thread should be closed; it's been a long time since he replied...

the cause was probably low on refrigerant
