Check Transmission and Cruise set light come on.

While driving my Check transmission and Cruise set light come on simultaneously the car jerks the RPM's go to 0 and it sometimes stalls. If I let off the accelerator the lights go out and the car seems to run OK until I either hit a bump or the engine shifts and then it seems to happen again.

This was caused by a faulty ignition switch in my rodeo sport. Twisting the key forward or backward made this go away. Hope this finds someone with the same problem.
