Any information about this 93' Celica STX Turbo? (with pictures) Advise, help

I'm planning to buy this Toyota 93' Celica STX Turbo. It a manual with 120xxx mileage.. No major dents or bumps on the body. The interior looks good. I'm not sure about the mechanical condition but 60 year old man selling it says its working well. I haven't drove it yet but I will on Wednesday and I'll let you know the update. Any information or advice would be nice!

Price of the car will be $1000.

There are scratches on the body but I'm planning to get a "gunmetal" paint job in the future with gunmetal sport rims

Here are some pictures I took when I went to visit the vehicle without the owner.
