Source for "pointed" cotton buds?

These aren't the regular ones that you stuff in your ears...these are the really pointed ones that are wound tightly and appear almost to be sharp. Where can you find these in bulk vs buying a few at a premium price from Tamiya? I've looked at local electronics shops and they didn't have them. Struck out at cosmetics places (although I got some great looks...). Anyone?

I got mine from a local japanese supermarket. You can also order them from
