I have been looking for a low mileage Aston Martin Racing Green DB7 convertible, with the super charged I-6 and manual transmission, as a gift for my wife. In the last two years I have not seen one on e-bay or auto trader or Craig’s list. I’ve even gone so far as to make a list of Aston dealers with web pages and checked them regularly. I have found a number of V-12 and automatic vehicles. I realize they were only built for a couple of years prior to the V-12’s introduction. Still I didn’t think one would be that hard to find. I talked to two supposed “Car Finder” companies but neither has come up with “MY” car. Am I looking for a needle in a haystack here or just looking in the wrong places? Is it the color or the engine/ transmission combo that makes it a hard find? I haven’t seen a coupe with this set up either now that I think about it. Suggestions, comments, somebody out there got my car in their gagage?
