Question Best exhaust for a 6th gen civic?

It's exhaust time FINALLY! I want to know what you feel is the best SOUNDING exhaust for the 1.6L SOHC VTEC motor. There are currently NO engine modifications on my car. I am adding an intake after the exhaust of course but I am getting the exhaust first because it's more expensive and I also want to see the difference after I add an intake. ANYWAYS, what exhaust has the best sound? I'm not worried about hp gain because I'm only allowed to do intake and exhaust and my car is an automatic ;/

P.S. if you vote for 'Other', please accompany a post with the name of the exhaust you are choosing. Also if you have a sound/video clip of ANY exhausts on 5th-7th generation civics please attach or link!

ummm..yea, definitely a problem with that post. actually there's two. they're only getting a muffler. i want full catback exhaust system. AND they are referring to a 5th gen civic. so that post does nothing to answer my question. i'm not tryin to be rude with this response either. i'm just saying that i want an answer for my specific car and setup because i want to know EXACTLY what im getting.

Yeah, okay. Like I said read the posts. There like 5 links in there and they are talking about catbacks and all that shit. Oh and so what if they're talking about the 5th gen. Does your 6th gen have this totally original motor that's somehow different from all other Civic's.
ANYWAYS all your questions will be answered in at least one of those links. Oh and liquid8............:finger4:

well i don't know the specifications on the 5th gen motor. but is every single piece of air flow in the two generations the same? like i said I just want to make sure I know what im getting. Sorry if I don't know as much as you but that's why I'm posting this thread.

P.S. It's also not as easy to get direct answers from other people's posts (hence why i made a poll)

I checked the links, one of them was helpful. But I still would like others to post and vote!!!

Why don't you go into more detail on your prob? How is it that it was the same as your stock one?

I was really considering the Tanabe Racing Medallion too. My ex g/f has one on her prelude and it sounded soooo goood. Everywhere I read about them it says they are designed for a deep sound without being overly loud. That's exactly what I want. But they do cost a little more...
