Why, or why would Airfix make these in 1:32? Obviously, they got the license to release the kits, why choose such an odd (slotcar) scale?

Herregud!why in hell 1/32 scale? with modern airfix quality and a decent decal sheet these 2 british beauties will be a real besteller.
