inner tie rod DIY replacement HELP
culprit: 2000 Villager estate
Looks like there is slack in the inner tie rod joint of the driver's side. How hard is it to replace? From the online manual (scant info on this repair) it's held in with loctite. What should I know before I tear it down? Any special tools? Is it pinned? Is there any risk of damaging the rack? Torch it first? Thanks, Matt Last edited by drcoffee; 09-29-2010 at 10:06 PM. |

Re: inner tie rod DIY replacement HELP
Not sure if there is a set screw on villagers or not to hold it in place once complteley installed. I recommend not using heat so you do not damage seals in the rack. Hope fully some one that has done one on the villager can chime in and be more of a help than I.
