My radio randomly changes stations all by itself! Occasionally my windshield wipers won't work..I have to push them with my hand to get them to go. Also my steering wheel radio controls either don't work at all or occasionaly, if I push one button it does something other than it should, like turn the radio off or start scanning, whatever...My daughter has a 1996 car model of Pontiac and her steering wheel controls don't work either....What's going on? Anyone else have or know this problem?

Re: 1994 Pontiac Transport SE 3.8L
ALl remote radio controls are set by various resistance values adn that is connected through a carbon and circular collector, so a dirty carbon contact acts as a random resistance value hence false commands. Almost normal with time. I'd say remove steering wheel and clean....but '94 comes with an air bag and I do not have the instructions for this model.
WIper control is a known problem documented here: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=512424 http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=677547
