A/C Question

I can buy a 2000 S-10 109,000 for 3,900 (clean), but it's A/C is not working. My questions is what do you think it would take to fix (max)?
Is it a good deal or should I buy one with working A/C for 6,999?

thoughts

thanks

Re: A/C Question

Same deal on my half-truck (Sonoma). The compressors are notorious for leaking at the case end seals. Suggest a $650 deduct for a compressor replacement or have them repair the AC and then offer teh truck for sale.
