94 aerostar,no reverse

put into reverse its in low gear. put on jacks, took off linkage, shifted tarnny by hand to reverse, wheels spin forward. All other gears work fine. start off in low and mover shifter thru the gears and works fine. linkage not loose.

Might also add that I dropped tranny to put in new front seal. Put everything back as it should be.
