03 cavalier electrical problem- ignition switch fixed it
the girlfriends daughter hit a racoon nothing was wrong at the time and drove home just fine. the next day the car started but dash, radio didnt work or could she shift out of park. i tried starting it later wouldnt start to check it.
03 chev cavalier 2.2L dash/radio doesnt work
turn key ahead and cant shift out of park with car running or not, it wont start most of the time and when it does the dash gauges dont work. the radio time or display will not come on with key ahead or in run position. does that sound like the computer went crazy? when the key is ahead and i try to take it out of park with the brake pressed it seems to me the computer is not responding to the brake being applied. i can jump power to the bcm/clu fuse and fuel pump, radio and dash all works. is that the comp or something else? also the comp will not respond to the scanner.
NEED HELP ASAP I DONT KNOW IF ITS ECM, IGNITION OR WHAT. thanks to whomever can help!!!
