Shaved Door Handles on P10

Just wondering if anyone has ran into problems after shaving the door handles with the factory alarm? Is it possible to use the stock actuators to pop the doors open? Any do's and don'ts?

Also, does anyone have a broken rear taill light that they don't want any more? I want to try customizing one. Let me know.

shaved handles....

My p10 is fully shaved, you must get the factory alarm disconnected. It cost me $175 at the dealer. I have hooked up the autoloc kit ($250) with 15 lb solenoids and remote entry on the front doors. I also have two emergancy releases to pop the doors in case of remote failure. If you have any more questions, let me know.

No pics of the interior, yet. Some of it is still in the upolstery shop. All I have to say is that it will be the most radical interior anyone has ever seen on a G20. A few clues... nothing is the stock color, tons of apex'i gauges, shiny stuff, mobile video. When completed I will post some pics. (probably not untill early spring 2002) Here are a couple of older pics from this past summer. I would also like to see how your g20 is coming along

A few answers to questions....
To get the door handles shaved, most shops will shave handles and locks for $150 per door, plus paint (which can vary depending on the color, pearl, etc.)

Also, the bumper on my p10 is a stillen front bumper that is designed for the 99+ p11 G20. The shop cut the origional bumper off a couple of inches down and then molded the Stillen bumper on. (No seams) The bumper required no cutting or modifying, it was easier than I thought.

Next on the list are some sideskirts.........

It's definitly not as fast as I want it to be.

The current engine mods are:
JWT POP intake
Greddy catback ex
Denso iridium plugs
Ported and polished head
Nissan motorsports gaskets
Optima yellow top batt

The car is in the shop right now for quite a few more mods both engine and body. This spring, the car should be much better.
