car wont start after using ac

my woman drives this vehicle so the only info i have is from her as i have not been able to recreate the issue at hand.
after driving around with alot of stops vehicle starts fine. then the temperature goes up (outside temperature) and the ac is turned on. make a stop after using the ac and the vehicle will not start back up. when it does it acts like it is starving for fuel. 20 to 30 minutes later it will start. today i will start with the basic fuel filter change and try to recreate the issue again. she did not know to listen for the fuel pump to turn on so i do not know if this is the issue or not. the question is what does using the ac have to do with this. is something getting to hot and breaking down with an intermitten issue. any ides would be most appreciated.
