No btrakes on 90 Lesabre

My son in law's 90 Lesabre has no brakes, AND when pushing brakes, it sends air into resivour. brake fluid is full of air bubbles!! What now?

my guess is you need a master cylinder and then bleed the brakes

Thanks for the reply. yeah, he bought a new master, bench bled it, installed, then bled brakes, but brakes still suck and air still comes up into resivour when pressing the brake. The brakes are better, just not what they should be.

Re: No btrakes on 90 Lesabre

Air is getting into the system some how, or not fully bled.

I see some people bleeding brakes by simply opening up a bleeder and pumping the brake. If this is how you bled the master cylinder and brakes, you almost certainly have air in the system. If you close off the bleeder each time while letting up on the brake pedal, and make sure at least 2 or 3 pumps have no sign of air, you can be pretty sure that the system has no air to start with. Then I'd clean all brake connections thoroughly, press firmly on the brake pedal and look for fresh brake fluid.
