Aftermarket Pullies
Does anybody know how to take a crank bolt off of a bbk crank pully?

Re: Aftermarket Pullies
You mean the single bolt that holds it to the crank? If so...read on.
If you have a manual, put it in the highest gear to prevent the crank from turning when you loosen the bolt. You will need a breaker bar or an impact wrench. Alternatively, if you just can't get it off, you may be able to get it by resting the end of the breaker bar on some wood blocks with the socket on the bolt. Hold it in place (take care where you place it and yourself), and have a friend bump the starter to break the bolt loose. Be sure to pull the fuel pump fuse so the engine does not actually start. After that it it should be able to come out by hand. You will need a harmonic balancer puller to get the pulley off.
