1991 covert. door panel removal?

I was out driving in the rain yesterday and my lovely little car decided it was time to go without my drivers side window, so it just let it go and it droped into the door. Now, I am in need of a little advice as to how one removes the door panel so I can see if I can fix this irritation. I got as far as the panel up and off the frame but do not want to start yanking at things to get the control panels off. Any help would be much appreciated.

Control panels..?? ie lectric mirror an speakers window up an down switch etc. ??.. I presume..?? just take yer time.. look at each connector and see how to open the lock tab ie the odd lookin thing you press in or prise out. use a small flatheaded screw driver to gentley ease the connections apart.. and you cant screrw em up putting them back as each is different. I presume by saying that you got it up and off the frame you disconnected the door light..??.. if not then theres a screw holding the panel to the frame behind it.. also theres a few screws along the bottom of the door hidden in the fabric..

there are 3 screws along the bottom under the carpet

One behind the door open light

One in the hole to grab the door to close it

One behind the lever to open from inside

One behind speaker grill

I just took both my doors off and put a power door lock kit in.
