No hazards or turn signals
Hazards and turn signals went out today. Replaced the flasher and still have nothing. If I have a blinker on, and press the hazards and wiggle the button a bit, the flashers will react. I had a mechanic put a new gear shifter in because the tow/haul switch would not go off. It was about 2 weeks ago. Could that have caused something under steering wheel to get pinched? Thanks all!

Re: No hazards or turn signals
Sounds like a combo switch issue which is fairly common.
What year?

Re: No hazards or turn signals
It is a 2002 tahoe. Is it hard to replace? Where is it? Thanks!

Re: No hazards or turn signals
The multi function switch is the part the turn signal lever is attatched to. The upper and lower steering column covers will need to be removed to gane acces. They are fairly easy to do. You may need a set of torx screwdrivers and a 5.5mm socket.
Many have posted that they have cleaned the switch buy spraying contact cleaner into every nook and cranny they can find on the switch and have had them start working again. I would also bet that you have no brake lights except for the center one also.

Re: No hazards or turn signals
It was the multi switch. Thanks for the help. Not at all hard to swap out. Thanks again!
