96 Jeep Cherokee sticky window

How do i clean the driver door manual window guides so it rools up and down easier? I took the door panel off and can see and feel the wire i the door guide but i am reluctant to lubricate the guide if that would make it worse or collect dirt. How do it make the window operation work smoother?

Lube everything you can. You might get some lube on the glass as it goes up and down, but that will quit after awhile.

LOL that's the color of what I used. I went to the counter at the local auto parts store and asked them what they'd recommend.
