Injen Air Intakes any good???

My truck is an 04 silverado 5.3, and im looking at putting a cold air intake on it. The truck already has cat back dual exhaust and a predator programmer. Just wondering if the Injen intake kit will help any. Thanks

don't waste your money ...many have not found any worth while gains ...Basicly a scam ...the claims they make are not proven just pure B/S !

Re: Injen Air Intakes any good???

I have a 99 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 Ltr engine with a superchips programer on the fuel economy setting. I installed K&N's 77 series CAI and have noticed a little more power as for the milage gains havn't checked due to the fact that I only drive the truck 4 miles to work and back barely gets to opperating temp. It does make the engine sound mean starting at 2000 RPM. worth the price of the intake alone

How do you "notice" a little more power?

The super chips programer has timed runs 0-40, 0-50, 1/4 etc.... and the truck was slightly quicker after I installed the cold air intake, also the truck requires less throttle input to produce will spin than before

As J-cat said most of the claims are B/S!!!!

Most Silverado's already have the best OEM factory cold air intakes set upon them with the OEM air filter.
