rear wheel wont sit flush...

i have one side of my rear that the wheel wont sit flush, there is a little lip on the rear hub that prevents it from sitting flush, anyone else have this? solution?

Are you using the 17" BBS wheels? I have 24 of these and some of them didn't have the centers machined out to allow clearance for the rear axels. We just use these on the front and they work fine. PIA if you are using 2 tire sizes. You can have the holes machined out to make them all the same.

hmm, yeah that sucks! I will probably just make a couple 1/8" spacers and use them on the rear, easier than machining the wheel!

no, its always sort of been that way, even with the wheels from panoz... I just tried to center the wheel as best i could, but it needs to be addressed, anyone have a set of 5mm spacers they want to sell? :-D

yeah, and? :-D I've been called a lot of things, cautious has never been one of them! :-D

I never really realized what was wrong, i just knew the wheel had a hard time sitting flush but seemed to sort itself out once i torqued everything down, but at the last event i realized what was wrong!

In my defense, I've only swapped tires on my car TWICE in 2 years, so its easy to forget these things
