Gas Hog
1985 F250, 460 with about 8,000 miles on rebuilt engine had a high performance Holly and no way could it pass smog, all the vacuum was pluged. So i went to the junk yard and got a stock Holly, and i believe i have the vacuum hoses hooked up right or pretty close. This truck cost me $20 bucks in gas where ever i go must be getting 3 or 4 miles per gallon at best, it is not leaking, floats are ajusted, idles pretty good and seems to run good but if i was to make a 50 mile round trip i know it would cost me $40 buck. Now when i turn the truck off, you can smell gas but no leaks. When i had the carb off i noticed there is 4 fuel mixture screws one in each corner now i've scene 2 before but never 4. I would like to keep the truck but i can't afford 3 mpg's.

Re: Gas Hog
Sounds like having someone who knows what they're doing lok at it would be worth the money.
