Is that the one where the front fender completely hides the front wheels? I think I had a picture of that car as my wallpaper background for a while. Those old Bugatti's are the most beautiful cars ever built.

That'd be this one:

The 1936 Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, I forget how much it was sold for, but it was definetly 8 figures.

Whoa there, get your facts straight. There were no Type 41's made in 1939, the production of all 6 occured b/t 1926 and 1931. Also, the Gueiness Book of World Records doesn't list the highest public auction price as $19,000,000, it is closer to $11,000,000, but that was in 1986, private sales of 41's have been been rumored to by up to your figure though. Finally, Porsche, that is a 1938 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, not a 1936.

Now that is one hell of a car. I would love to see that in person.

I guess it's this one ?

I think there were around 12 Bugatti built, and most of them can be found at the Musée National de l'Automoblie in Mulhouse (eastern France) http://www.collection-schlumpf.com/schlumpf/

LOL you don't like 10,000,000 million + dollar vehicles living with you? hehehe

Ya, Duesey knows his Bugattis. I'm guessing all other cars of that era too.

For anyone who still hasn't figured out how to find out about the most expensive car...
... go to http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/index.asp?id=43465
it's a Bugatti Type 41 Royale Sports, sold on the 12th of april 1990 in japan for $ 15.000.000
