1977 F350 4x4 S/Cab 400-2V Engine Info Please

Hi There.
I've been asked by my friend to find out this answer and I can't find it anywhere else.
What is the horse power listed for the above application?
Thanks Willie

Re: 1977 F350 4x4 S/Cab 400-2V Engine Info Please

My book on Ford performance engines (from HP Books) rates this engine at 160 hp, stock. Keep in mind, though, that this engine was designed for utility use, for high torque at modest RPM. They were not intended as a performance engine, but were best suited for hauling heavier loads at modest revs. So peak hp has been sacrificed in order to build low-end torque.

If your question was directed at me, you'll see from my original post that I do not have this vehicle, it was a request from a friend. I do not know anything about these vehicles.
