was wondering are parts interchangeable from a 84 to a 80s mc ???

I'm assuming u mean mechanical-wise. A lot of the smaller parts may be. Things like carb, no. 84ss had the l69 ho engine. This was only avail on the 83-88 ss models. Rear end was 3.42- only avail on 83-84ss. Tranny was th350c...again only 83-84ss years.
