Unhappy 03 Grand Caravan airbag light

Just took the Caravan on a 1000 mile trip. The airbag light kept coming on and going off at pretty regular intervals, something it's never done before. Now for the question.....Just before the trip, I had the radio out to hook up XM radio. Could this possibly have anything to do with the airbag light? Everything I read about airbag lights says if it comes on, immediately take it to your Dodge dealer. Since I'm on a fixed income, I try to stay away from the dealer. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: 03 Grand Caravan airbag light

Some of the minivans had a recall for the clockspring. It was just a simple replace. I agree with scradels281, the clocksprings are the most common cause of the airbag light coming on on the Caravans. I've replaced several clocksprings.
