Swap this, swap that, what a swappin day.

Well, as some people may know, my motor grenaded on me in the red civic. So, since I need a hatchie to drive to the meett his weekend, I improvised.

The old motor I pulled from my new 89' hatch, is now in my 90' hatch. I cleaned it up good, put on my header, and intake manifold, along witht he JG cam. At first I lined up the AEM gear wrong, and skipped a tooth. After that was fixed, it still ran crummy. So next was a valve job. This thing needed it bad. Anyways, after the valve job, and an attempt at setting the timing, it pulls pretty good, even more so after 3k. But, the best part, it ook 1 1/2 days, and I am ready for the road trip.

make sure tony calls me when he gets to your house. i'm a little weary about him working 10 hrs and then driving 19! he mentioned something about possibly doing the MPFI at your house. if there isn't time, you guys are more than welcome to do it here...thought about it after i talked to him.

Yeah, I have all the stuff sitting here in the shop, so if we gets here early enough, maybe we will try. If not, I will bring the stuff along and maybe we can do it up at your place.
