97 Bravada ignition switch issues

I been reading a lot of the forum about the ignition switch troubles on the bravadas and such and I just want to run my issue by you guys to see what you think

Here are the symptoms.

Sometimes it will stall out while driving, just at random. Dont matter if its a bumpy road, sunny day, or during an eclipse. It will just to it whenever it wants. Sometimes several times a day, sometimes not for a week.

If I turn the ignition switch to the ON position, the radio and DRL light will illuminate, but everything will stay dead for about 2-6 seconds and then I will hear a couple clicks and everything will come on. It will not start before the clicks, but will start perfectly after.

Does this sound like the ignition switch or something else? Thanks for your time.

Re: 97 Bravada ignition switch issues

have the battery and battery connections checked. Seems like that is what the problem turned out to be with my wife's bravada. It was doing the same thing a few years ago.
