Re: need answers

Well, for one thing, Ricers write in text message, with terrible spelling.

Another thing is the usage of words such as "fag."

But I guess I'm just being a fag about the whole thing...

Re: need answers

Fag is generally not preffered and I would not reccomend telling us to not be something you see as derogatory when we have not even said anything yet. A ricer is defined on opinion more or less. Someone who puts an unessecary wing and stickers on their car with some under glow and a fart can big enough to smuggle illegal immigrants in it may be a ricer. Some people say it is an attitude people have like when people lose a race and when it is over they continue to go fast and do a "ricer flyby". I have heard claims that anything that is not a V8 is rice. Most people would not agree with that but it is somewhat a matter of opinion with a little fact inbetween.

Re: need answers

No problem.

And at age 15 you should still easily be able to use decient punctuation and spelling. We are not going to critique your every word because we all make mistakes but just try and put a little time into it for the rest of us.

tho it deters from the original context of a "ricer" i think even v8's can be "riced out." my personal opinion is any appearance mod beyond wheels heightens your riceness.

case and point:

Re: need answers

dude its easy!
A ricier : person who thinks they are fast, claim to be fast, talk shit cause they think they are fast but in fact are slow.

Non-ricer: anyone who is fast.

fast: anything that can smoke a ricer.

see its very easy.

Re: need answers

haha, ricer to me, is exactly all of the above, talks shit wen they win, and doesnt shut up wen they loose, they have a piss poor attitude towards everyone, and most of all, dont tend to care about other people on the rd, 3 accidents all involving a way overdone civic(same on too).
i dont think that people that use text talk are ricers, they just feel like typing quiker, i do it.
a ricer car, is usaully a 4 banger(4 cyl), with mods out the ass that dnt help it any way shape or form. most of which originate from japan. some people have done it to american cars, just a lot easier to use jappanesse.
i wanna say dnt b one, but its up to u

So you're telling me that by leaving out those 5 extra key strokes, you're saving time?

Anyways, a ricer is whatever you want it to be. My view of what a "ricer" is constantly changes as I learn more or develop different opinions of things. I don't necessarily go by the "if it doesn't help you, it's rice" thing, because some things like rims don't always help but they clean up the look of the car. As you learn more, you'll figure out what you think "rice" is.

Re: need answers

Moved, and please don't use the words fag or gay to describe something you don't like. At 15 I'm sure your vocabulary is large enough to utilize better adjectives.

Re: need answers

ricer = all show and no go, bragging to be fast. yet building a decent looking car and knowing its not fast is an exception.

ex. i put an intake on my civic, and it gained 50 hp. so now im pushing 170hp instaead of 120 hp.

on average an intake adds maybe 5 hp. there are exceptions of course, with larger displacement and things. mind you this is 'magazine racing' and not true. basically its just thinking you know everything abvout your car and it can beat everything, no matter what it is.

i also found this, it seems to do the trick.

Re: need answers

i like that if u go thru that a few times up top, u look up 240sx, it's exactly the type of car we're talking about.
wow that 240sx with 500hp, wooped that camaro. um yes sure it did, and how much money did u waste on that 240sx. and how much money was in that camaro.
do i think typing with some letters missing is quiker, over time yes, in short bursts of 5 seconds yes. but lets see, lol, is a hell of a lot quiker than laughing out load. now isnt it
