Thought I'd give this a try: Need parts painted anyone?
So I just finished up my front valve cover on my stealth.. Stripped the old paint off, sanded it down, then sprayed some high temp gloss black over the whole thing, hand painted the words and logos, then clear coated (high temp of course) over the whole thing, and I've got to say, it looks pretty darn good.. So just had this idea to offer my services, anyone who wants a valve cover or intake manifold or anything painted, any color pretty much, with details done also - the letters and such, let me know.. I'm thinking $25 per part + shipping?, probably make it 35 for a manifold since its more intricate. Either send me your part or I would be able to provide one, you'd just have to pay for it obviously.. We'll see how this goes.. Thanks very much.
In my opinion it looks just as good as powder coated, and I know 3sx charges 60 to powder coat valve covers and 75 for intake manifolds (not sure if they do the lettering also though), so it would be just a little more than a third of the price.
