2002 Alero with front end vibration and noise

I have a 2002 Alero that in making a groaning noise coming from the front drivers side the noise only happens when the car is moving it gets louder when you turn the wheel back and forth you can also feel vibration on the driver side floor. we have put the car up on the lift and turned the wheels and you can still hear this noise and feel vibration. We ave replaced the driver side hub, caliper and breaks now we are replacing the passenger side, we have found that there is a little play in the lower CV joint on the passenger side. Could this be causing the problem or could it be something else? Please help this is my only car and we have decided it is dangerous for me to drive.
Thanks

Re: 2002 Alero with front end vibration and noise

Welcome to AF.

Is the noise still there after replacing the passenger side hub? Also, how many miles do you have? The vibration could be the axle shaft CV joints.
