2001 PA Ultra A/C Leak

Hey guys, first time to the forum and only had my car about 2 months. Have already fixed the stalling while driving that I've read so much about but have a question regarding an A/C leak.

I went to recharge my A/C system and heard and say the R-134a leaking out. Put the car up on a jack and took a look, noticed it was coming out from the compressor in the middle port. It looks like a barbed hose fitting but no hose was connected. the metal inlet and outlet are in good shape, just curious if there is supposed to be a hose in the middle or if my compressor is leaking by out of a vent of some sort.

Any help is appreciated, thank you very much!

Does the vent look like a bolt with a hole in it? Also was this before you charged it?
