2000 jimmy alarm issue

my alarm keeps going off , security light stays on and does not go off after the 30 seconds is up , the only thing i have worked on on the truck is the drivers power window, i disconected the battery before doing any work all wiring is connected properly , now security light comes on after locking the doors and will not go off after the 30 sec period , after about 5 min the alarm goes off. anyone know what the issue is?

Factory alarm.
You might try the reset procedure.
If that does not help it needs to be put on a body capable scanner and see what is going on and get codes.
Post back any codes.
