Honda cvt

I read a blurb on NY International Auto Show that Civic Hybrid had a CVT, Constantly Variable Transmission. Are these Honda transmissions any less prone to problems (read: 'failure') than their old automatic transmissions?

Re: Honda cvt

As far as I know, Honda CVT's have been pretty reliable. There were problems with the early Civic Hybrids, but I haven't heard of any big problems besides that.
