Loud noise from front end.

I have a 99 grand am gt. And it makes a weird noise up front. It almost sounds like something is rubbing but I've checked. It's constint and gets worse as I turn, If I turn Right it gets really loud. But I can hear it when I turn left as well, But not as loud. A friend suggested that it could be the cv shaft. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Loud noise from front end.

It also can be your hub assy also. Since the noise gets louder when turning right as suggested above could be a bad CV joint, or the hub assy also.

If you had said a "clunk" I would have said something in the suspension, however you said "weird" noise and that was what my daughter said to me when she was low on power steering fluid. Check your power steering fluid.
