1994 BMW 325ICA. How do I get to the inner working of the passenger seat to fix the manual forward tilt to get in back seat?

Re: 1994 3series seat repair
Buy a Bentley Manual and it'll supply most of your info needs. You will need to remove the seat so the degree of difficulty is right up there for the average DIY'er.
You may even grow to enjoy working and learning the Bavarian way of doing things. |

Re: 1994 3series seat repair
Thanks to daddyo8 for suggesting using the Bentley manual. At lease it shows an exploded view of the seat. Hopefully I can go from there with the repair.

Re: 1994 3series seat repair
If it's any consolation, I have a 94 e36 coupe and have a similar problem. The seat will move forward and back but the seat backrest will not go up and down so right now I look like a lowrider. But it's adequate to see out the windshield so it will wait till i have spare time to tear the seat apart in and afternoon. then the wait will be parts delivery from wherever.
Good fixing to ya! |
