Jimmy, I'll still be at the track. I'm doing ChumpCar stuff and I'll have to get my mustang going with all the suspension stuff I bought a long time ago. I actually have a watts link for the mustang, coilovers, 6 point bar, etc. It won't be close the Panoz but I think I can have fun with it. The new cobra project will be here by the 1st of the year and I'm just out of space. I bought the Mustang in college and my wife won't let me sell it. These are problems everyone should have.

Are you guys going to do the Lemons 24 hr here in WPB New Years? Our team has decided to give it a crack, so we are trying to make our car more competive, lowering, stiffer anti sway bar, cold air box, no power steering, better tires, etc etc $$$.

Hey Paul, we are doing Roebling with Chump Car in Jan. Definitely Sebring again later in the year. We'll see what other events work out. I'll be at the track, just not in the Panoz. I'm pretty excited about the 289 car I'm building.

The 289 car sounds very cool, what are you going to do fpr power? Vintage 289 with 4 Webers? that would be way cool! Or the new double over head cam 5.0 from Ford. also way cool.

FYI, the car is getting interest at this price point but actually from a different forum.

I have the original Konis that came with the car. For a serious buyer who wants to pay a little less I can remove the Penskes and install the Konis.

I just added the 650/350 springs to my car and am only a few days away from firing up the LS2 engine project. This project has taken way longer than I expected. In Feb I started to just install a 392 stroker Windsor motor like the one in my FFR Cobra. I got the FMC block and then I saw Chris's LS2 in his Backdraft and had to have one. Well 8 months later its almost ready to run. Custom motor mounts, trany mounts, trany rebulid, new fly wheel, clutch, pressure plate, hyd clutch system from peddle to throw out bearing, bell housing, track link strengthen, shorten the drive shaft twice ( dont ask), dry sump system, fuel injection (then sell it and go carb), $500 in dry sump hoses, starter, power steering, gauges, all new wiring, alternator, pulley set, water pump, design and build 4 into 1 headers, new mufflers, the list just keeps going on. Anyway, I sure hope it runs.

I heard that several of the school cars have been sold through the Shelby (Cobra?) club in Northern and Southern California. I think 2 clubs, but there are 5 or 6 running in their events and I have had some interest in mine (not for sale...yet).

You may want to Google a bit and see if you can run an add. Seems like $18k is about the going price so you should see some action.
